Profile - About me

I have been an enthusiastic athlete myself from a young age. Therefore, it was a logical progression to start a professional career in this area. As such, I started working in the field of physiotherapy in 2001. On one hand, I focus on therapies such as rehabilitation from and the prevention of injuries; on the other, I offer individual support for professional athletes and amateurs. In the course of this, I establish training plans with regards to medical aspects for competitive athletes and other interested people.

Numerous further training contributes to the range of therapy methods I offer. In 2005, I started focusing on sports-physiotherapy (specializing in the treatment of sports injuries). Initially I gained experience from amateur football (TSV Lengfeld-Würzburg) before getting the opportunity to work with professional tennis players during the 2007 ATP World Tour. Since then, my focus has increasingly shifted towards providing support during international competitions. This encompasses providing support for various professional tennis players during all four Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open), during Worldchampionships, during the Olympic Games, at the Davis Cup competition and at the International Premier Tennis League.
